Terms of Service

Last updated: April 1, 2026

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using GitCritter ("the Service") you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Accounts

You must provide a valid email address and choose a password that meets the minimum strength requirements. You are responsible for keeping your credentials and any personal access tokens secret. We may suspend or terminate accounts used to abuse the Service or violate these Terms.

3. Your content

You retain all rights to the code and content you upload. By uploading content you grant us the limited rights needed to host, display, and serve it back to you and to people you share it with. You are solely responsible for the legality of what you upload.

4. Acceptable use

Don't upload malware, illegal content, or material that infringes someone else's rights. Don't use the Service to attack other systems, scrape user data, or send spam. We may remove content and terminate accounts that violate this section.

5. Service availability

The Service is provided on an "as is" basis. We aim for high availability and durable storage but do not guarantee either. Keep your own backups of anything irreplaceable.

6. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GitCritter is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Aggregate liability is limited to fees you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.

7. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced in the product. Continued use after a change means you accept the new Terms.
